Vintage Sterling Silver Brother Wolf 34” Chain

This vintage sterling silver chain consists of interlocking circular belcher links. It has a great long length of 34” and a sturdy lobster clasp, making it perfect for a substantial pendant that you’d like to wear at a lower placement. Brother Wolf is a family-owned jewelry house founded in 1989 that specializes in religious-inspired reproductions of antique relics. The relics, such as old pins, coins, and pendants, are sourced from churches, temples, and antique shops across Europe and Israel. When the jewelers find a special item, it is used to create a mold that includes all the details of the original piece, down to the tiny scratches and wear seen on the original, which gives the contemporary reproduction the same antique beauty of the relic. The name Brother Wolf is a reference to St. Francis of Assisi, who is known as the patron saint of animals. In the legend of St. Francis, the saint tamed a dangerous wolf by treating him as a creature of God and calling him “Brother Wolf.” 

The chain measures 34” long with a with of 28 mm thick It weighs 15.15 grams. It is marked as sterling silver and has a rectangular tag with the BW maker’s mark.
