About Kirsten's Corner

Kirsten’s Corner specializes in estate jewelry and small objects of vertu.  We offer a beautiful selection of antique jewelry and one-of-a-kind signature pieces. Our collection includes Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Aesthetic Movement, Art Deco, Retro, Mid-Century Modern, and Vintage jewelry, as well as distinct and finely curated designer and signature pieces. Our shop is inspired by art and history, yet we look to the future by featuring the most elegant contemporary pieces. Our small objects range from bronzes, snuffs, match safes, perfumes, and keepsake boxes.

Kirsten’s Corner is run by Cindy Kolodziejski, who has been a visual artist for the past thirty years. In addition to a keen and discerning eye, she brings an extensive background in Art History to the pieces she represents. Cindy sees jewelry as an extension of fine art, and curates a collection that speaks to both beauty and historical significance. Every piece in our collection is meticulously researched and is guaranteed to be authentic. Cindy thoroughly enjoys learning about the origins and historical references of each piece, and we are proud to offer a website that tells the story of the jewelry practices of the past 200 years and beyond. We think of Kirsten’s Corner as both a shop and an educational resource, and hope to share our love of history with you through every piece we offer.

As a visual artist, Cindy’s work has been collected in numerous museums and private collections in the United States and abroad. Her primary medium was ceramics—a practice that included both sculptural elements and painted images, and required immense attention to detail. Cindy now applies these skills to the fabricating of signature pieces and overseeing the repairs of antique jewelry. She holds a BFA and MFA, and is a GIA GD (Graduate Diamonds) & AJP (Accredited Jewelry Professional). She firmly stands behind all her inventory.
