This diamond ring was made in platinum during the 1940's. It is a classic Retro cocktail ring, full of luminosity with 37 small diamonds that follow a swirling ribbon design. There are three transitional cut round diamonds in the center of the ring that cross in a diagonal. These diamonds are the largest and measure approximately 3.5 mm each. The swirling diamonds that make up the curving ribbon-like feature are single cut diamonds with high tables and measure about 1.5mm each. The diamonds are very vibrant and bead set into platinum. The interior of the platinum band is marked as such, and it also has a faded maker's mark. The diamonds have a good color of G-H and clarity of VS1-SL1. With such beautiful detail to the design and such romantic organic forms, this ring is perfect for a special occasion.
