Circa the 1960’s, this platinum engagement ring features a stunning marquise cut natural diamond as its centerpiece. It is flanked on either side by a floral motif created by four smaller marquise diamonds and two single cut diamonds bezel set in a leaf-like pattern that surrounds the marquise diamond as if it were a flower bud or offering. The marquise diamond is prong set with v-shaped prongs at the points of the diamond that accentuate the marquise shape. The band begins with a subtle knife-edge that softens toward the back of the ring shank. This vintage setting is delicate and feminine, making this a unique but classic engagement ring.
All the diamonds in the ring are natural and have a combined total weight of 1.15 carats. The marquise diamond measures 8.5 x 5.25 mm and weighs approximately .9 of a carat. It is G-H in color and SL1 in clarity. The smaller marquise diamonds measure 3 x 1.5 mm each and the single cut diamonds measure 1 mm each. The ring weighs 3 grams.
