Vintage Hand-Knotted Aquamarine Bead Necklace with 14K Gold Clasp

$350.00

A beautiful selection of round aquamarine beads, hand knotted on a blue thread, and held together by a 14k gold clasp. The beads are a lovely glacial blue, with slight differences in color from bead to bead. It is nice to see the subtle variations in the beads: some are crystal clear while others have natural inclusions that enhance their beauty. The blue silk thread that runs through the beads unifies the wonderful hues of icy blue, tying the piece together.

Aquamarine is known to have healing properties that are calming and energizing. They bring good luck and sense of peace, harmony, and balance. They are the birthstone for the month of March.

The necklace is 20” long and weighs 30.9 grams. Each bead is 7.5 mm. The silk thread is knotted between each bead, which adds beauty but also makes the necklace very secure. The gold clasp has pretty filigree work and is marked as 14k.
