Vintage French 18k Gold Cannel Set Sapphire Ring by MC Paris

This is a vintage ring with beautiful construction and a clean aesthetic line. Two half-dome bands are stacked together, and a row of channel set square cut sapphires peer out from between the two bands . The facets of the sapphires make them shimmer, which draws the eye to the center of the ring. The domes of the bands are rounded, while the facets of the sapphires are angular—we love this contrast between soft and geometric. The interior of the ring has tiny openings behind each of the sapphires, allowing light to shine through. 

The ring contains nine natural sapphires, with a TCW of 0.75 carats. The ring’s design makes it hard to get an exact measurement of the sapphires.

The band is 3/8” wide at its widest point and 1/8” at its narrowest. It has a substantial weight of 11.05 grams. It is marked on the interior with MC Paris 750, as well as a French hallmark. On the exterior of the band, there are two small hallmarks that have faded. 

Ring size 6.75. Could be slightly resized by a knowledgeable jeweler skilled enough to work with the double-band design at the base of the ring.
