This vintage rope chain has the warm buttery hues that high karat gold is known for, and the richness of the 22k gold is striking. The links are hollow, which gives the look of a solid 22k gold chain, but without the added weight (and therefore, added cost) of a solid gold link. The chain has a great visual texture as the links appear to twist in a rope-like fashion, and the hollow links are a little more delicate than a solid chain. A traditional S-clasp can be gently pushed closed for added security, and makes for a beautiful detail. The chain looks good alone or with a pendant.
