This 18k gold ring features a staggered zigzag pattern of baguette diamonds. It has incredible light play that creates lines of sparkle that flicker and catch the light from every angle. The effect is prismatic and vibrant as the stones come to life under sunlight. Each baguette is held in place by a singular prong that has indentations that make it appear as a split prong—this leaves the corners of the diamonds exposed, emphasizing the angularity of the ring’s structure. The ring is rounded on the inside, but squared off on the outside, and the band is bisected along the shank. Circa 1980’s, but with a very contemporary feel to it. The structure of the ring is playful, and the diamonds are bright enough to see mirrored reflections within them.
The ring contains 1.3 carats of natural diamonds. Most of the stones measure 4 x 2.25, though there are some that are a bit longer in the center, and the outside stones measure 3.75 x 2.25. They are G-H in color, bright and lively, and VS1 -SL1 in clarity.
The row of diamonds measure 3/4” x 3/8”. The band is 3.65 mm at its widest point along the bottom. The ring weighs 5.3 grams. Marked on the inside as 18k.
Size 7.5; resizable within reason.
