This is a nicely detailed hand shaped paper or note clip from the Victorian Era. Measuring 1 1/2" x 3/4" x 3/4".
It features a life like hand with a fanciful cuff of lace. The spring action in the clip allows for a sturdy grip on papers that are placed there. It has a beautiful patina and is silver plate on a base metal.
The finely sculpted hand also has a ring with a small faceted glass turquoise stone that is prong set. It is a perfect desk accessory, ready to hold post-it notes and the like on your desk.
