This early Victorian-era amethyst watch key is made in 14k gold. The amethyst is a lovely Rose d’France pale purple. The hexagon bezel wraps the stone with an elaborate floral border, which repeats on the body of the key, creating a beautiful ornate effect. The key can be used to wind up an antique watch, or can be worn as a charming pendant.
The pendant’s length is 1 1/4 inch, and the amethyst’s diameter is 1/3 of an inch. It weighs 4 grams, with an ample oval bail measuring 7mm x 5.25mm.
