This spectacular Old Mine Cut diamond ring presents a wide band of encrusted diamond sparkle comprised of Old Mine Cut and Single Cut diamonds that are bead set to appear as a myriad of wonderful facets. When viewed from the side, the ring has a nice open carriage that appears to raise the diamonds up while also letting in light to enhance the sparkle of the stones. Engraved details extend down the sides for a pretty, added touch. The elongated cluster of diamonds exhibits the characteristics of Old Mine Cuts that we love: chunky facets, sparkle, and a lot of light play.
The ring contains 1.2 carats of natural antique diamonds. There are ten Old Mine diamonds that range in size from 3 - 3.5 mm, and four Single Cut diamonds that are 1.75 mm each. The diamonds range from VS2- I, with most diamonds falling in the SI2 range. The imperfections in the stones are standard for Old Mine Cuts and we love that each diamond is unique. There is a bit of warmth to the stones, and they range in color from K-M.
