This is a romantic Victorian amethyst double heart and crown pendant with seed pearls. Twenty one tiny seed pearls surround a prong set amethyst heart shaped stone. There are two heart amethysts side by side and they are topped with a seed pearl crown. This piece is beautifully crafted with the 56 1.25 -2mm pearls bead set. The crown carefully carved out of gold. The Amethyst are 1.25 carat each and have a rose de France color, a soft medium purple. The heart stones have a lovely convex surface on top and faceted back. The piece weights 2.5 grams and measures 7/8" x 1 1/8" including the oval bale which has an opening of 5.5.
The crown signifies loyalty and the two hearts connote two lovers side by side. This is a lovely piece for the true romantic. It is in excellent condition. Shown on the tiny paperclip chain but there are many chains on Kirsten's Corner it you are in need of one.
