This Victorian 14k gold engagement ring contains a stunning Old Mine Cut diamond, approximately 1 carat in size. The 14k gold ring shank has interesting delineation—the band swoops up and visually stops to allow a space for the diamond to be held. The diamond is set in a partial bezel that opens into six-prongs, creating an elegant cage setting with views of the stone from all sides. The ring’s diamond is exceptional: its beautiful open culet has a stunning Kozibe effect, meaning the culet reflects throughout the stone to create a myriad of sparkling facets.
