A skinny marquise-shaped banded agate from the Great Northwest decorates the top of this simple and elegant turn-of-the-century ring. The translucent banded agate measures 7/8 of an inch long by 1/4 of an inch wide. The sliver or boat-like form created by its narrow dimension ends at points and is soft to the touch. The stone is fitted onto a simple 10 karat yellow gold band with a curved motif at the ends of the band when the stone meets the gold. The agate features creamy colors, brown spots, and a hazy orange color. Together the colors become intertwined to create a beautiful design on this antique gem. The ring is marked on the interior with 10 kt. This ring is a size 6 but can be easily resized. Circa 1900s. This ring is a wonderful antique, a nice piece of history with a contemporary look. This ring also makes a great unisex item.
