A gorgeous 1920's platinum ring featuring a multi-faceted .90 carat round diamond in a four prong setting with superb Art-Deco design. The ring is a size 6-1/4. The interior of the platinum band is marked with platinum, and it also has a cursive dedicatory script with initials and the year 1925. The diamond is truly breath-taking and the design is delicate and feminine. The diamond has a H/I color and clarity of VS-2, with no visible inclusions and a small cullet a the bottom of the diamond. Graded in setting.
The diamond is approximately 6.2 mm in size. There are so many intricacies in the engraving on the band of this ring, along the band as well as on the high carriage, making this ring into the perfect romantic gift, or engagement ring. The open-lattice work on the carriage, the organic floral motifs and repeating geometric shapes are all a fine example of high-quality craftsmanship of this era. The ring has so much light, radiating luminosity; the platinum of this ring has a nice patina that complements the bright diamond.
This ring is a classic, romantic Art-Deco engagement or wedding ring perfect for a special occasion. Truly unique!
