Sterling Silver Scottish Highland Games Dancing Medal Pendant

This is a lovely sterling silver medal pendant awarded for dancing in the 1933 Scottish Highland Games, by the National Association of Athletics Administration. From bail to end this pendant 2 1/4” long, and approximately 1 1/2” across at its widest points.

The front of the pendant is decorated with a foliate motif that surrounds a lively, dancing man at the center. The dancer wears traditional Scottish attire. Their clothing is nicely detailed— kilt, hose, jacket, and cap are clearly visible. The back of the pendant is hand engraved with lovely font. It reads, “N.A.A.A. / 1933 / DANCING”. Below the text is a 925 sterling silver stamp, along with a thistle hallmark. This piece weighs approximately 19.45 grams, or 0.63 Troy ounces.
