This lovely signature piece from our collection is an early Victorian era diamond and turquoise enamel ring. Originally an antique button, this unique artist-made piece was converted into a stunning ring. The star shape is a Victorian favorite, especially in the early part of the era when celestial motifs and and mystical references were in style. The star has a bead set rose cut diamond at the center, which measures approximately 3.5mm in size. from there and to the points of the stars are tiny detail diamonds that illuminate the center. The blue enamel is in great condition for its age, and quite plump and saturated in color. The base of the button, now converted to a ring, is also 14 karat gold, like the split ring shank band.
The ring is a size 6-1/2 and can be easily re-sized. A stand-out Victorian piece, this star motif measures approximately 1/2 inch at its diameter. Beautiful craftsmanship and design, merging old and new. The ring is a one of a kind signature piece from our collection, only available at Kirsten's Corner.
