Circa the 1930’s, this 14k gold charm features Mickey Mouse playing a violin—a reference to the 1930 cartoon “Fiddling Around,” in which Mickey takes the stage to perform Traumerei and the Hungarian Dance no. 5. The cartoon, which is also known as “Just Mickey” was directed by Walt Disney and was the sixteenth Mickey Mouse short ever produced. We love the detail of the charm and were intrigued by the obscure reference and historical significance that is almost 100 years old. This charm is very rare and will be the favorite piece of any Mickey Mouse collector or lover of classical music.
