This is a simple and elegant 18 karat yellow and white gold ring by Mario Buccellati.  A truncated rectangle presents as the top of the ring. It has a polished surface and the top almost reads as a mirror. Like a sculpture this rises from the ring band with sharp geometric shapes. The rest of the ring which is primarily white gold has the iconic Florentine surface Buccellati is known for. The band of yellow gold frames the ring adding a touch of warmth.

The ring is a size 4 1/2 and the ring top is 16mm x 14mm. The weight of the piece is 12 grams. Marked: 750, Mario Buccellati and *15 Mi for Milan also dating it to be after 1968.
