This large stamped sterling silver bumble bee brooch by Fletch & Co., also known as Danecraft, is an iconic image of our pollinating friend the bumble bee. The brooch has beautiful details to the wings and a plump body with lifelike engravings to represent the fuzzy texture of a bee. It has a lovely patina from the oxidized silver in the crevices that makes the delineation stand out. This is a great statement brooch that will certainly draw attention!
The brooch measures 2.5” x 2.25” with a depth of 1/4”. It weighs 11.5 grams. The back of the brooch has a functioning pin that measures 1.75”. It is marked as sterling silver with the maker’s mark for Fletch & Co.
