Nine stunning Old European Cut diamonds are the petals of a flower in this platinum and gold Edwardian pendant. The diamonds are bead set into a beautiful handmade setting, and within the flower, delicate milgrain work creates a star. The front of the pendant is platinum, while the bezel and back of the pendant are gold. The quality of the antique diamonds are what make this piece so special. Near colorless, the diamonds have bright, dazzling sparkle in the sunlight. The pendant comes on a 14k gold tiny belcher link chain that makes a lovely compliment to the pendant.
The center diamond is 3.5 mm and the eight surrounding diamonds are 3 mm for a carat weight of .9. The diamonds are bright and lively, F-G in color and VS1-VS2 in clarity. For smaller diamonds, they pack quite a bit of punch into their sparkle.
The necklace weighs 2.7 grams (including the chain). The chain is 16” long and marked as 14k. The pendant is 7/16”x 9/16” with an additional 5 x 7 mm bail.
This is the perfect dainty piece and looks great on a chain!
