Sourced on a recent trip to Madrid, this 18k gold ring was designed by Carrera y Carrera, a Spanish jewelry company founded in 1885 in the Barrio de las Letras neighborhood of Madrid that has become a pillar of the Spanish jewelry community and is known for its unique designs. This ring looks like a flowing ribbon of gold, held together by a thin floral motif band. The matte surface of the gold with the detailed band create contrast and the band’s width gives it wonderful presence on the hand. The inside of the ring has intricate carriage work and a smooth curve that feels great to wear. Reminiscent of a leaf wrapped around your finger, the unique design of this ring is feminine and fanciful.
The band’s width is just over 1/2” and the ring weighs 12.59 grams. It is marked 18k, Carrera y Carrera, and with the serial # 530443.
Ring size 7.75, but because the wide band holds the ring in place, it can also fit as a size 7.5. Not resizable.
