This is a stunning Art Deco navette-shaped 18 karat white gold, diamond and sapphire ring. The ring has some excellent filigree work that merges organic abstract shaped with sharp angular lines.
The center diamond measures 3.35 mm, and the diamonds flanking the center diamond are 3 mm each, for a total carat weight of approximately .5 carat. The diamonds are three Old European Cuts with high tables. The diamonds are set in octagon shapes. Above and below the diamonds are caliber cut sapphires that offset the geometric design. A classic Art Deco design with strong geometric lines and filigree work.
The color of the diamonds are approximately I/J with Sl1 clarity. The ring measures 1 1/4" long, marked 18K, with a weight of 4.7 grams/3.0 dwt. Circa 1920. The ring is made for a size 7-3/4 and can be easily re-sized by a professional jeweler. The luminosity of the white gold on this ring really makes every detail and ornate line pop. It is a gorgeous ring for a cocktail party, or to enhance any evening dress.
