This gorgeous Art Deco bracelet centers around an Old European Cut diamond set into a bull’s eye element. The 3.75 mm diamond is bezel set, surrounded by a layer of Rose Cut diamonds and milgrain work, bordered by a final platinum outline. Off to the sides, in a classic Art Deco motif, are two elongated triangles that also contain milgrain set Rose Cut Diamonds. The elements of the bull’s eye and triangles are illusion set, held in place by tiny bars that make it seem as though they were floating; the subtle bars integrate perfectly into the milgrain work. The bracelet is topped with a thin layer of platinum, giving the appearance of all white with a flash of yellow when looked at from the side. Elongated rectangular links connect the rest of the bracelet, continuing the outline design seen in the bull’s eye and triangle elements.
The central diamond is a natural Old European Cut that measures 3.75 mm and is VS2 in clarity, G-H in color. In the surrounding circle, there are 16 1.2 mm natural Rose Cut diamonds. The triangles contain six natural Rose Cut diamonds that range in size from 2 mm - 1 mm. The total carat weight of the bracelet is approximately .3 of a carat.
The bracelet weighs 9.2 grams. It is 7” long and each link is 1/2” inch. Links could be removed to fit a smaller wrist. The center bull’s eye is 3/8” across. Marked as 18ct. A great standalone piece that also looks lovely stacked with other bracelets.
Circa 1915-1920 Europe.
