9K Gold Enamel Articulated Humpty Dumpty Charm or Pendant

This painted enamel Humpty Dumpty sits on a 9k gold wall, smiling and waving before his great fall! 

The details of this charm are adorable. The enamel on Humpty’s face is hand-painted, and he has a mischievous smiling expression. The red and blue enamel on his arms and legs is tight and intricate, requiring a lot of skill and a labor intensive process to create. The 9k gold brick wall that Humpty sits on is articulated and opens up so that the little character can sit on his wall. Humpty Dumpty wears a cute gold bow tie, and his tiny hands are shaped like stars. 

Made in Birmingham, England in 1952, this charm contains the maker’s mark “C&F”, as well as the marks for 9k, Birmingham, and the date. When closed, the charm is a 1/2” x 1/2”, not including the bail; opened the charm measures just under an inch. The bail is 5.6mm. The charm weighs 2.6 grams.
