The design for this ring came into being when Kirsten’s Corner replicated a ring for one of our clients. The ring had belonged to her mother, but was damaged past the point of no return, so she wanted to replicate a version of the special piece. The design is a simple 18k gold trilogy ring with a beautiful rounded shank. The centerpiece is a 6.7 mm Old European Cut diamond, flanked by 2.9 mm side stones. The ring is elegantly bezel set, and the center stone exhibits the beautiful triangular facets that Old European Cuts are known for.
The trilogy stands for past, present, and future—with the center stone representing the here and now, a beautiful way of thinking about a life together symbolically through a ring.
The three natural diamonds are all Old European Cuts. The largest diamond is 6.7 mm, with a carat weight of 1.13 carats. It is J in color and SL1 in clarity. It comes with a GIA report that describes it as having good polish, good symmetry, and no fluorescence. The two side stones have a combined carat weight of .15 carats. They are G-H in color and VS2-SL1 in clarity. The ring weighs 3.16 grams.
Size 7.25. This ring can be resized.
