18K Gold Edwardian/Art Deco Two Stone Diamond Ring with Sapphires

$1,295.00

This stunning 18k white gold, diamond, and sapphire ring is from the cusp of the late Edwardian and early Art Deco eras, circa 1915-1920. It is set with two Old Mine Cut diamonds placed side by side in a geometric setting of two connected squares. The Old Mine Cuts have beautiful high tables that peak up over the mount of the ring. The diamonds are flanked on the shoulders of the ring by two caliber cut sapphires that add a pop of saturated blue. The sides of the ring are hand engraved with a crisp, precise scrolling floral motif that extends down the band of the ring, as well as sweet half-moon cut outs that function as tiny windows that allow for a view of the diamonds set within the ring. This beautiful ring could be worn as an everyday piece, but also makes a great Toi et Moi style engagement ring.

The ring features two natural antique Old Mine Cut diamonds. Each of the diamonds  measures 4 x 4 mm and has a carat weight of 0.25 carats; the ring has a TCW of 0.5 carats. The diamonds are VS2 in clarity and I-J in color. The two natural antique sapphires measure 3 x 1 mm.

The ring weighs 2.7 grams. The face of the ring measures approximately 3/8” x 3/16”. Marked 18k.

Ring size 5.75. We don’t recommend resizing this ring, as it would disrupt the engraving on the band.
