This is a a stunning 18 karat white gold, diamond, and sapphire ring from the late Edwardian early Art Deco era, c.1915-1920. It is set with two old mine cut diamonds side by side, measuring 4 mm x 4 mm each and sitting in a geometric setting of two connected squares. Each diamond has a 0.25 ct. weight with a TCW of 0.5 ct. Flanking these on the shoulders of the ring are two caliber cut sapphires, measuring 3 mm x 1 mm each. The diamonds have good clarity and I/J coloring. This ring is engraved with a scrolling floral motif around the band and gallery; all in very crisp detail.
This lovely ring weighs 2.7 grams and is a size 5 3/4 . The band interior is stamped "18K" and has been tested as 18 karat gold. This would make a great gift or addition to a vintage fine jewelry collection.
