We love that these 18k gold diamond earrings express the dynamic of order and chaos. The earrings are handmade of delicate 18k gold wire, wrapped into ball-like tangles. The tangles are messy, but contained within the clean lines of geometric spheres. A larger ball dangles on a gold bar from a smaller ball, giving the earrings graceful movement. The openwork of the delicate wires allows light to pass through the gold for a lacy effect—though the wires look delicate, they are well-constructed and welded together, their fragility only an illusion. Interspersed in the gold balls are single cut diamonds that add sparkle and bring a bit a je ne sais quoi to these stunning earrings.
There are 16 single cut diamonds for a total weight of 1/4 of a carat. The diamonds are bezel set into white gold. They are bright and lively, measuring 1.25 mm each.
