18K Gold Contemporary Quartz and Diamond Earrings

These 18k gold earrings are beautifully designed with the utmost creativity. The design is focused around a large lozenge-shaped quartz, which is a Rose Cut variation, with a lot of depth as it comes to a point on the back side. The quartz is surrounded by a border of 1 mm pave diamonds, and along the bottom, a row of diamonds in tear-drop settings dangle in a fringe-like fashion that gives the earrings a lot of movement. At the top of the earring, a Rose Cut diamond is surrounded by micro pave, creating a floral effect. A line of three bezel set diamonds connects the top and bottom elements, and the chainlike appendage adds another level of movement and dangle. The 18k white gold has a rhodium finish that gives a darker cast to the gold that makes the diamonds stand out and gives the earrings a dramatic moodiness. 

Combined, the earrings contain approximately 124 diamonds that range in size from 1 to 1.85 mm. The TCW is approximately 1.5 carats. The Rose Cut diamonds in the top of the earrings measure 3.25 mm. The diamonds are H-J in color and SI-I in clarity. The quartz lozenge measures 11.3 x 6.7 x 4.3. 

The earrings have impeccable construction and are well designed, with omega backs and a beautiful dangle to each of the chain like pieces. A unique added feature is that the earring posts can be folded down so that the earrings can be worn as either clip-ons or for pierced ears. 

The earrings measure 1 3/4” x 1/2”. Combined, they weigh 11.9 grams. Marked as 18k gold.
