18K Gold Art Deco Diamond and Enamel Dangle Earrings

$3,500.00
These gorgeous 18k gold Art Deco earrings begin with an Old European cut diamond, surrounded by platinum and milgrain work. As is traditional to Art Deco jewelry, the top portion of the earring is gold-back and platinum-front, enhancing the white of the diamond. The earring descends down into an elongated diamond shape, outlined by black enamel that offsets the diamond and platinum beadwork that details its center. Below it, the earring dangles down into a bull’s eye form that consists of a black enamel circle layered with a smaller platinum circle and an Old European cut diamond that creates the bull’s eye. The pieces are stacked with a cross section that attaches in the back to create an illusion setting that makes each piece of the bull’s eye appear to float. With black enamel in excellent condition, milgrain, and beadwork, the earrings have many classical Art Deco design elements, with lots of detail packed in.

The earrings contain six natural antique Old European cut diamonds (three in each earring). The diamonds measure 4.25, 2.75, and 2.25 mm. Combined, the earrings have a TCW of .85 of a carat. The diamonds are G-H in color and VS2- SL2 in clarity.

The earrings measure 1 7/16” x 3/8”. Combined they weigh 5.7 grams. The earrings have nice, wide backs that hold the earrings in nicely. Unmarked but acid test as 18k gold.
