This stunning 1860 to 1870 Victorian ring features three rectangular rhodolite garnets bezel set with tiny tags of gold holding the stones in place. The biggest garnet measures 4.6 x 3.75 mm and the smaller two measure 3.5 x 3 mm. Six 1.5 mm pearls are set around the three magenta rhodolite garnets. The small pearls have a beautiful blue cast that contrasts nicely with the warmth of the gold. The carriage features detailed gold ribbon work that runs along either side of the stones so that the profile of the ring has a subtle, graduated arc. The engraving around the band is worn and upon close inspection there is evidence of resizing. The ring is size 4 3/4 and can be resized at the same spot on the band. The inside of the band has a JFF makers mark and a 625 mark for 15K.
