Circa the 1980’s, this 14k gold vintage bracelet has a geometric design and solid, fluid form. The link appears squashed, with a curved line down its center, and an alternating Florentine finish. It is a double link, flattened on both sides, so that the front and back mirror each other, and when viewed from the side, look like fish scales. The bracelet’s exterior outlines create clean lines, while the interior pattern utilizes curves and waves, for a unique interplay of geometric elements. The Florentine finish on every other link adds texture and sparkle. A luxurious piece with a solid weight that feels good to wear.
This is a great unisex piece, with a longer length of 7 7/8”. For someone with a more slender wrist, the bracelet will sit lower on the hand. The bracelet could be shortened with the help of a jeweler. The links are 5/16” wide and 1/8” thick. The piece weighs 58.3 grams.
Marked on the clasp with “Italy” and “14K”. It has a secure clasp with two safety latches.
