14K Gold Victorian Three-Stone Old Mine Cut Diamond Ring

$395.00
This 14k gold Victorian ring contains three diamonds in a north-south arrangement. The larger, central diamond is an Old Mine Cut; above and below are two slightly smaller single cut diamonds. The stones are surrounded by a sweet, scrolling foliate, and a ball finial caps both the top and bottom. We love that the ring adds a dainty sparkle to the hand.

The rings contains three natural antique diamonds. The Old Mine Cut diamond measures 3.4 mm; the two single cut diamonds measure approximately 2 mm each. Combined, the TCW is approximately 1/4 of a carat. While the center diamond is not of the highest quality—it has a few surface reaching inclusions that are not uncommon in antique diamonds—the ring offers a nice sparkle at an affordable price.

The face of the ring measures 1/2” x 5/8” and the band is 1.9 mm thick. It weighs 1.9 grams. It is marked as 14k gold, along with the maker’s mark of an A and a star, which is the hallmark for Allsopp Brother’s, a jeweler-based in Newark, NJ circa the 1890’s.
