14K Gold Victorian Era Old European Cut Diamond Ring

$900.00

A splendid Old European cut diamond with a high table is set into high pronged buttercup setting. The ring is marked 14K on the interior of the band and dates to the Victorian era. It is made for a ring size of 5 but is sizable. The six prongs that raise the central diamond give it space to emit light, and add vibrancy to the diamond. The diamond measures approximately 4.mm or approximately 1/4 of a carat. It is a bright and lively diamond near colorless, G-H in color and VS2 in clarity.

The ring design is reminiscent of a flower, adequate for the era when flowers were symbols of romantic love and feminine charm. It makes a wonderful engagement ring or token of affection. It weighs 2.5 grams.
