A beautiful banded agate rectangular slab is the center piece of this Victorian ring. This slab has a beautiful array of chocolatey browns, blacks and stripes of white. When held up to the light this landscape like slap reveals transparent bands of tan earth tones. The banded agate has rounded corners and is bezel set. The ring acid tests to be 14 karat gold. It has a split shank and is rounded in the carriage of the ring to comfortably fit a finger.
The banded agate slab is 1" x 3/4" and is 3.7mm thick. It is in excellent condition with soft rounded edges and a perfect bezel. It is a size 7 1/4 and weighs 7.2 grams
