This elegant bracelet is made of 14k gold and decorated with a central reticulated piece of green jade. The center jade piece protrudes about a 1/4 of an inch from the gold setting and is carved with flower patterns. A lovely ring of seed pearls decorates the gold setting around the oval jade stone. From the central jade, as if emitting sinuous line-work, the gold work has a woven lace-like gold organic pattern detailed with beads of gold. The central piece was once a brooch and has been seamlessly incorporated into a modern bracelet. The gold of the bangle gently flows into the Victorian piece creating a captivating bracelet. This is part of Kirsten's Corner Signature Collection where I can use my artistic eye to make modern day heirlooms.
With the brooch component dating to the Victorian era, this piece of jewelry has all the romantic features of the most prized pieces of that era. It weighs 30 grams with the widest part of the bracelet being 1 1/2" narrowing down to a 1/4" band. The interior circumference is 6 7/8". The bracelet has a safely lock and is marked 14K. Adds a nice touch to any outfit.
Green jade is a gemstone of love and contains many healing qualities.
