This circular pendant is cast from glass, with a dog carved and hand painted to shine through in a lively, three-dimensional effect. The dog is similar to a German Shepard, and it stands on a patch of green grass that adds cheerful color to the image. The background is opalescent, catching various shades of pinks and blues as it moves in the light. Bezel set into 14k gold, the pendant has the quality of a tiny piece of framed art. Circa the 1920’s or 1930’s, the pendant was originally part of a pair of cufflinks. Kirsten’s Corner converted the links and added a 14k gold oval bail so that the piece could be worn on a chain. Have a guardian with you at all times with this charm.
The pendant is 1/2” across, with a 5 x 6.8 mm oval bail. It weighs 1.7 grams.
