This 14k gold retro ring contains a gorgeous four-carat Aegean Sea blue zircon. The large stone has incredible sparkle and a deep-saturated blue-green color that contrasts beautifully with the warm, rosy patina of the ring’s gold. On the sides of the ring, in true retro fashion, the setting has ribbony, water-like forms that hold up the stone. The fluid lines of the setting are reversed on either side of the stone, making a continuous graceful wave. The zircon is prong set. This is a great piece for summer, with a gorgeous blue-green pop that evokes the feeling of vacationing in the Mediterranean.
The natural zircon is in excellent condition. It measures 8.9 mm across and 6 mm deep, and weighs 4 carats.
The ring face measures 7/16” x 5/8” and sits 3/8” above the finger. It weighs 3.8 grams.
