This is a classic Art Deco men’s ring, circa the 1920’s. The 14k gold ring features a rectangular onyx panel with rounded corners. In its center is an Old European Cut diamond, bezel set in platinum. The gold has a beautiful Florentine finish that fades toward the back of the band. A triangular inset on each side of the band makes a nice design element that compliments the onyx panel. A hefty, sizable ring with great presence on the hand.
The natural diamond is Old European Cut and 1/4 of a carat. It is VS2 in clarity, G-H in color.
The ring is marked on the inside as 14k and has an interesting pictographic maker’s mark that we were not able to identify. The face of the ring measures 3/4” x 3/4” and the ring weighs 17 grams.
Ring size 10.75, this ring could be sized up or down about one size.
