We love this 14k gold pendant’s disc shape and seemingly lunar texture. The pendant has a matte surface, built up with texture cast into the piece. The crater forms and stipled dots read as a textured disc that catches light and reflects a lunar surface that glows like a full moon. Both sides of the pendant are textured so that it can be worn with either side facing out. (We prefer the side with the heavier texture and we love that each side is unique.) The disc has a nice weight to it that gives it substance. A nice, simplistic homage to the celestial.
To complete the piece, we’ve added a small box chain that has a great glimmer to it and is a worthy match to the moon’s glow. The chain is 18”. The pendant is 7/8” across. Together, the chain and pendant weigh 5.4 grams. The pendent is unmarked but acid tests as 14k gold; the chain is marked as 14k.
