14K Gold Coral and Diamond Modernist Ring

$1,850.00
Circa the 1960’s, this is a beautiful example of an anthropomorphic coral ring. Four leg-like carved coral branches emerge from a central carved geometric white gold and diamond element. The coral is a deep saturated salmon color with a beautiful luminous polish. At the top of each piece is a hint of white that would have been the center of the coral, carved down from the branch. The four legs are widest at the center of the ring and narrow out into a 14k gold split band, making this an incredible sculptural ring. From the side, the ring has a high arch profile that elegantly showcases the details of the ring. The design of this ring is unique and well-thought out, incorporating modernist elements into a piece until like anything we’ve seen before.

The ring contains four natural prong-set single cut diamonds. The ring is marked 14k gold and 858. The ring weighs 7 grams. The face of the ring coral element measures 3/8” x 3/4” and sits 7/16” high. Made in Italy.

Ring size 7.75. Could be resized up or down a half size.
