An elegant vintage Parisian-made Hermes wrist watch with quartz battery movement. The Etrier watch is a woman's watch although it could also be worn by men. Its minimal in style is refined, with simple lines and the time is denoted by four simple lines, at 12, 3, 6 and 9. The lines are stainless steel and a gray color, which stand out against a soft cream colored face. The strap has been replaced by a newer one, but it is similar to the original in color. It has a rich walnut brown color and the leather is in great condition. It is marked "Subachi" and "genuine leather". The buckle is stainless steel and marked "inox", French for stainless. This watch has lovely nostalgic tones, adding a superb vintage look to any outfit. The back of the stainless steel watch is marked with the Hermes H and makers mark, as well as reference number 51450.
The watch is in excellent good condition and keeps time well. There is a minor but visible stain on the face of the watch where the mark for 3 and 6 are. Otherwise the watch is in great condition. The bracelet watch length is 8 inches, and the face of the watch is set into a nice gray color of stainless steel is 3/4 x 1 inches. The crown of the watch and the steel bezel are both marked with Hermes also. Circa 1980.
