This is a really nice heavy Victorian English 9K solid gold curb link pocket watch chain, complete with a nice 9K gold mounted citrine swivel fob and t bar. The t-bar is hallmarked with the maker's mark "DB" , "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold. Both dog clips are hallmarked with the maker's mark "DB" and with "9" and ".375" as well. The hallmarks keep coming as each link of the chain are also hallmarked "9" and ".375". It is a wonderful and versatile chain. While technically it is a pocket watch chain it is long enough so it can be worn as a necklace.
The total weight of the chain including the fob is 60.75 grams. The total length is 15 1/4 inches, including dog clips and it is 1/4 inches wide. It is marked with an anchor for Birmingham and while I found no date letters it dates to around 1900. The citrine fob is in very good condition with only minor wear to the stone. The overall fob is 1 inch x 1 inch, with the arch of the fob being created by a double chain like swivel. This is a great piece to add to your chain game or neck mess.
