Edwardian Platinum and Pearl Chain Necklace

This is a gorgeous platinum and pearl necklace from the Edwardian era. With handmade platinum links, this stunning piece is comprised of an alternating pattern of natural pearls and a chain section. The natural slightly baroque shaped pearls display a lovely, creamy white color and a high luster surface, complimenting perfectly the delicate platinum chain. The chain is 59" long and is separated every 1 1/8" by a 2.7 mm pearl. There are 49 pearls total. It weighs 8.5 grams.

The necklace is a continuous chain without a clasp, because of its length it can easily slip on and off overhead. It can be worn once, twice or three times around the neck, making it a very versatile chain. Beautiful and feminine it layers well with other chains or looks equally good alone. A classic!
