Edwardian 14K Gold and Platinum Bracelet with Diamonds and Sapphires

$2,250.00

This is a stunning Edwardian 14kt gold and platinum bracelet with diamonds and natural sapphires, circa 1890. Despite it’s age, this true antique is in impeccable condition.

The 16 smaller diamonds located on either ends of the bracelet are all rose cut. The diamonds on either side are graduated and range in size, from 1.00 mm to 1.40 mm. Next to the diamonds, on either side of the bracelet, are four natural old-mine-cut sapphires that also graduated. The natural sapphires range from 1.50 mm to 2.00 mm. The two large diamonds are old mine cut and are both approximately 3.00 mm each. The diamonds have an approximate combined weight of 0.28 carats. The impressive sapphire is a round brilliant cut and is very clear with no visible inclusions. The stunning middle sapphire is 6.30 mm in size and has an approximate weight of 1.15 carats!

The stunning open-work platinum front is a hallmark of Edwardian-era jewelry. This bracelet weighs approximately 16.25 grams. This bracelet is made for a size 6 1/2”-7" wrist. Although this piece is unmarked, I have acid-tested it as 14kt yellow gold and platinum. The bracelet features a box clasp with a safety chain for added security.

This incredible bracelet would make an unforgettable gift or amazing addition to your antique jewelry collection!
