This 14k white gold diamond and sapphire Art Deco necklace is a Kirsten’s Corner signature piece. The lace-like attributes of filigree are always mesmerizing, and this necklace is no exception. A gorgeous diamond makes the piece sparkle, and two square French-cut sapphires add a pop of blue.
Art Deco motifs often bring in natural elements to offset the geometry of a design. The delicate filigree suggests images of a garden gate, with a leafy vine connecting the gemstones in its center, while the diamond and sapphires are tilted on a diagonal for a dynamic, geometric look.
Kirsten’s Corner carefully removed the pin stem and attached a white gold chain for an elegant conversion from brooch to necklace. This piece looks wonderful layered with sapphire and diamond by the yard necklaces, which are also available through our shop.
The diamond is SLII and GH in color. It is 4.25mm and a quarter of a carat. The necklace is 17 inches in length and weighs 3.3 grams.
