This is a striking Art Deco 14k gold and platinum topped bangle bracelet filled with diamonds and sapphires. The design features alternating bands of round diamonds and table cut sapphires, a classic Art Deco bangle motif.
The front has 9 old mine cut diamonds that measure 2.5 mm and there are 16 single cut diamonds that measure 2 mm along the back and hinge area. There is a total of 1 carat of diamond weight combined. The diamonds are G/H in color with a VS11 - SL1 clarity, bright and sparkling diamonds
The front of the bracelet has sapphires that measure 4 mm by 3 mm and the sapphires on the back measure 3 mm by 2 mm. There is a total of 4 carats of sapphires. These synthetic sapphires are well-matched with a beautiful dark hue. Synthetic sapphires were often used in the Art Deco period.
The piece is made with 14k gold and has a platinum top that surrounds the diamonds and sapphires. There is nice platinum milgrain around the diamonds and sapphires. There is a small section of migraine missing, but it’s hard to notice and the stones are well secured.
This bracelet measures 6 3/4” and it weighs 10.7 grams. It opens and closes easily and has a safety chain too.
