22K Gold 1851 Liberty Head One Dollar Coin Charm
The Liberty Head gold dollar coin was designed by James B. Longacre, and is the smallest coin that the U.S. Mint has ever produced. They measure just 13 millimeters in diameter. The coin features the portrait of Liberty on its obverse and an eagle on the reverse. These beautiful coins are comprised of 90 percent gold and 10 percent copper. This 1851 Liberty Head one dollar gold coin has been turned into a charm with an addition of a bale at the top. The coin has normal wear for a circulated coin. With the 14K gold bale the coin weights 1.8 grams. The bale measure 4mm x 6 mm.
