This is a 21k gold Etruscan Revival bead strung on an 18k chain. The bead is handmade dating to the 1880s. It has incredible cannetille wire work. When viewed close up, the bead has symmetrical engravings circling the entire piece. This creates a nice detailed texture. The high karat gold of both the chain and bead have a warm, deep golden tone. The chain measures 16”, the bead is 8.5 mm, and the entire necklace weighs 1.8 grams. This is an elegant piece, that looks great alone or stacked with other necklaces.
