This is a stunning Edwardian micro-pavé jockey uniform-jacket pendant, ready to wear on a chain of your choice. This piece is exhibits masterful craftsmanship. A colorful jacket paved with diamonds, sapphires and rubies is an instant draw. When many stones are set in this fashion very closely together, they "pave" a surface like cobblestones, hence the name, from the French word: "pavé".
The diamonds add a nice touch as the most vibrant of buttons and these are set into a segment that is made of white gold. The very many tiny gemstones have been bead set into a 18 karat rose gold back.
This pendant measures 1 inch by 3/4 of an inch and weighs 5.6 grams. It features 27 rubies, 47 sapphires and 17 diamonds all about 1 mm each.
